In order to assist developers, engineering consultants, contractors, and planners as they prepare projects for evaluation by the RWU engineering staff, we are now providing details, guidelines, and specifications for download. As revisions, additions, and changes are made, the documents are updated on this website, and the revision and effective date are given for each document.
Your Rogers Water Utilities Engineering contact will inform you of the documents that apply to your project, please download them and familiarize yourself with their contents. Many common questions are answered in these documents. As always, if you have further questions, your Rogers Water Utilities Engineering department will be pleased to help.
Current Notices:
Effective June 9, 2006, developers will have the option of
setting 1-1/2 and 2 meters and construction of the related meter
boxes. RWU will continue to do these installations, if requested, but
do offer the Developer the opportunity to do this work providing better
control of their construction schedule.
Actual connections to existing water mains will be made by RWU at
Developers expense.
Complete specifications for this work are being developed and will be
posted to this website in the near future. Please contact RWU in the
interim for information regarding this new option.

The following sections are hereby revised in the Standard
Specifications For Construction of Public Water and Sewer Improvements
in the City of Rogers and Areas Under the Jurisdiction of Rogers
Waterworks and Sewer Commission, dated August 1996, revised April 16,
1997. The summary of revisions is as follows:
The Summary of Revision No. 9 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-07, 02-11 and 07-04 to the Water and Sanitary Sewer Standard Details; the addition of Sections 02-16, 04-10, 07-05 and 07-06 to the Standard Specifications; effective 8/16/2007.
Summary of Revision No. 8 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-01, 02-13 and the Water and Sanitary Sewer Standard Details; the addition of Sections 06-02, 07-01, 07-03 and 07-04 to the Standard Specifications; effective 12/12/2006.
The Summary of Revision No. 7 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-06, 02-11, 02-13 and 04-07 and the addition of Sections 04-09, 05-03, 06-04 and 07-02 to the Standard Specifications; effective 08/22/2006.
The Summary of Revision No. 6 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-10 and 03-04 and the addition of 02-13, 04-04, 04-05, 04-06, 04-07 and 04-08 to the Materials Standard Specifications; effective 06/12/2006.
All other sections of the said standard specifications remain in effect.
