Effective June 9, 2006, developers will have the option of setting 1-1/2” and 2” meters and construction of the related meter boxes.  RWU will continue to do these installations, if requested, but do offer the Developer the opportunity to do this work providing better control of their construction schedule.

Actual connections to existing water mains will be made by RWU at Developer’s expense.

Complete specifications for this work are being developed and will be posted to this website in the near future.  Please contact RWU in the interim for information regarding this new option.

Summary of Revision No. 8 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-01, 02-13 and the Water and Sanitary Sewer Standard Details; the addition of Sections 06-02, 07-01, 07-03 and 07-04 to the Standard Specifications; effective 12/12/2006.

The Summary of Revision No. 7 encompasses the revision of Sections 02-06, 02-11, 02-13, and 04-07 and the addition of Sections 04-09, 05-03, 06-04, and 07-02 to the Standard Specifications; effective 08/22/2006.

The following sections are hereby revised in the Standard Specifications For Construction of Public Water and Sewer Improvements in the City of Rogers and Areas Under the Jurisdiction of Rogers Waterworks and Sewer Commission, dated August 1996, revised April 16, 1997.  The summary of revisions is as follows:

The Summary of Revision No. 1 is Sections 02-01 through 04-02 of the Materials Standard Specifications: effective 12/12/2005.

The Summary of Revision No. 2 are Sections 02-12 and 04-03 of the Materials Standard Specifications and Section 08-07 of the Testing Specifications; effective 02/06/2006.

The Summary of Revision No. 3 is Sections 02-08, 03-01, and 04-03 of the Materials Standard Specifications and Sections 08-02 through 08-05 of the Testing Specifications; effective 03/06/2006.

Section 08-07 of the Testing Specifications is now Section 08-02 of the Testing Specifications.

Charging for the re-television inspection of the previous failed section of the sanitary sewer main(s) as stated in Section 08-04 of the Testing Specifications will be effective on 06/26/06.

The Summary of Revision No. 4 is Sections 02-06 and 02-011 of the Materials Standard Specifications and Section 08-03 of the Testing Specifications; effective 03/15/2006.

Water and Sewer System Inspection Acceptance Checklist are also revised; effective 03/15/2006.

The The Summary of Revision No. 5 is the addition of Sections 08-06, 08-07, and 08-08 to the Testing Specifications; effective 05/01/2006.
