Our oversight responsibility is accomplished with the following departments: Engineering, Inspection, Maintenance, Repair, Accounting, Information Technology and Customer Service. Our Retirement Program (pension) allows you to plan for the future. APERS is the acronym for the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System. In this defined benefit plan, employees contribute 5.25% at a pretax rate and the City contributes 15.32% on behalf of the employee.
